Miriam has been giving piano lessons in a school setting and at her home since 1995, and at Taylor's Music Studios since 2001. Having Level-2 Orff-Schulwerk and Level-1 Kodaly training, she is also a certified classroom music instructor, teaching grades PreK through 8 General Music in parochial schools since 1995. In addition, her experiences include two years at Settlement Music School in Jenkintown, teaching Children's Music Workshop classes to the very young. Miriam holds a BS in Music Education from West Chester University, and has since taken graduate courses in Music Therapy from Immaculata College. She continues to develop her professional skills by attending various music education workships and remaining active in the Main Line Music Teachers Association, a local piano teachers organization.
