Liz is a graduate of West Chester University with a BM in Music Education. During her tenure at West Chester University, she studied violin as well as chamber music under the tutelage of Professor Sylvia Ahramjian. In addition to studying privately, she has also performed as a principal player and soloist for many ensembles on and off campus. Liz is a founding member of the Appassionata String Quartet, a professional quartet that gives two full recitals a year amongst other performances. She has traveled to all seven continents with the Long Island Youth Orchestra, whose mission is to teach and perform many genres of music for underprivileged children as well as governmental audiences. She enjoys teaching classical violin/viola and chamber music to students of all ages. Along with working at Taylor’s Music Store, Liz is also the elementary strings director at St Mary Magdalene School in Media PA. She is Principal Second Violin for the Immaculata Symphony as well as a member of the Lansdowne Symphony. Currently, Liz is studying violin with Daniel Han, First Violinist of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
