Barbara is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Western Connecticut State University, with a B.A. Music degree in classical vocal and piano performance, in addition to a B.A. in Communications. She is a classically trained vocalist and pianist, but enjoys performing several different styles of music, including jazz, rock, and blues/folk. Barbara currently teaches voice and piano at Taylor's Music, having recently married and relocated from Connecticut. She was an adjunct vocal professor at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT, and was also Director of Music at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Redding, CT. Barbara remains quite active in the CT musical community, performing both classical and popular music.
Barbara has been a full-time musician for over eight years, teaching music from beginner to advanced levels for over ten years. She has performed and recorded throughout the CT/NY area, and has performed, recorded, arranged, and composed with many other artists as well. She is looking forward to new opportunities here in Pennsylvania.
