Amy Mengini has been teaching basic and intermediate piano for the past 6 years and has been playing piano for the past 11 years. Her music interests vary greatly, but favorites include Jazz, Classical, and Rock. She has also ventured into playing many different instruments. Currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Music Education at West Chester University, Amy hopes to someday teach piano and voice classes at a university.
Amy’s love of teaching comes from the thrill of opening a person’s mind to the world of music, being able to give, and her love of the piano. Being able to meet so many different kinds of people, so many different variations of piano playing, and working with different age groups is what makes teaching so enjoyable for her. Amy agrees with the old saying, “If you love the job you do, you never work a day of your life.”
